What does it mean?
An Incoterms® rule where the seller delivers export-cleared goods to the buyer-designated carrier at the named place. At the seller premises, delivery includes loading; at another place, the goods arrive ready for unloading from the seller vehicle.
In practice
The parties name the exact terminal or warehouse where FCA delivery will occur.
Before requesting a quote
Before comparing freight quotations, identify the agreed delivery rule and the exact named place or port. Explain which transport stages you need included and who coordinates the other stages. This helps separate the freight request from the obligations already agreed between buyer and seller.
- Agreed delivery rule, edition and named place or port
- Transport stages to include in the quotation
- Cargo details, origin, destination and ready date
